We all have some sort of baggage that we bring with us to any new situation. Short of a full mental and medical screening, we can usually work around any "issue" you may have. Our trainers are certified (and sometimes certifiable) and they are use to working around things like knee and back issues. Don't worry about getting in shape before you participate... our job is to get you in shape so stop stepping on our toes . As always, make sure you discuss any personal concerns you may have with our trainers to minimize the chance of injury.

When I joined Fighting Fitness I was very worried about being able to do what I saw the class doing. I told myself that I would never be as good as them. I came into this with a disease called Multiple Sclerosis ( which has multiple issues including balance and vision problems), I weighed 298 pounds, I had not worked out in YEARS, and had very low self esteem. I told myself give it a month and if I cant do it I'll quit. Here I am 8 months later and still loving every minute of every workout. With the help and support of my class and a awesome trainer I am down to 230 pounds, my balance has greatly improved, I am getting healthier, my multiple sclerosis is not giving me issues, and my self esteem is much better. I now know I can do anything. Can't is no longer a word I use. Not only does it get you extra push-ups but I have learned its not that I can't I just have not done it yet.

Without the help of Julie the Miracle Worker I would have not been able to do it. I love Fighting Fitness and boxing after a long, hard day at work. Relieves so much stress. I'll NEVER give up and I'll NEVER surrender!! Thats a promise!
